Interesting Family History: Our greatest family history is our children. All of Dawson’s family (except his sister Darci) had a pilots license. Dawson’s uncle, Donald (Butch) Perkins played for Coach Curly Lambeau and the Green Bay Packers as well as the Chicago Bears. UW- Whitewater Football Stadium is dedicated to (Uncle) Forrest Perkins, long time coach and athletic director at UW-Whitewater. Related to poet Robert Frost resulting in first born son of each generation carrying the middle name of Frost. Jackie was raised on baseball. Her parents have been to every major baseball stadium in the United States and Toronto. Her brother umpired baseball for

50 years (he started at 14). To this day, Jackie is tired of baseball! Jackie and her high school teammates won the very first Wisconsin State Gymnastics Championship, ushering in a new era in women’s sports in high school athletic programs in Wisconsin.

Tell the story of how you were asked to be a Commodore and First Mate: Dawson was asked to do a presentation on the development of an opening day parade at Riverfest.

One thing on your Bucket List: We want a lot of grandkids!!!
